He was attracted towards spirituality from the age of 18. So serene was His grandma that even if she had a bit of anger, she would have a bath with cold water. The environment, thus was pure and so, great saints like was P.P. Narayan Maharaaj (Kedgaon) often stayed in or visited the house.

Karmarkar kaka's school education was completed at the famous New English School in Pune. He passed Mattrick exam in 1945. His queries related to Spirituality were answered by Swamiji and He wished one day I wanted to be like You. Hearing this Swamiji blew a Divine conch shell (shankha) and this resulted in straight raising of His head's hair! Unable to bear the Divine sound coming through the shell, Kaka asked Swamiji to stop this. Swamiji later told Him that the Divine happiness He wants to acquire, is far greater than this. On His request to initiate Him on the spiritual path, Swamiji said your account is not with me but You will find Your Master later. In 1957, He married with Vasudha (later Mrs. Vasudha Karmarmar).

In 1966, He was initiated in the yoga path by P.P. Shri Batukbhariav Maharaaj Joshi, as a Sandhyashram disciple. Before this, He was thorough in Gurucharitra, Upanishad's and Vedas and attended Satsang's. His family deity is at Harihareshwar. He had attained the kindness of Kal-Bhairava by doing sadhana in wet-ness.

He had also mastered Ayurveda and gave solutions by doing the followers naadi-pariksha. He had a mastery over solving queries of His followers, may be they relate to Spirituality or of matters relating to Family, etc. With the help of His in-borne skills and the mastered ones, He later on developed what is today known as Sahaja Yog Sadhana – EASY Yog (Easily Accessible Salvation Yog).

In 1984, due to sudden loss of eye-sight, He took a voluntary retirement from His job and concentrated wholly on Spirituality. At the same time His kind Master P.P. Batukbhairav Maharaaj ordered Him to continue the Sandhyashram Yog Parampara (way of Yog). He initiated more than 150 students. He was homely to many who came to Him for remedies related to bad health and spirits.

He presented the Sandhyashram way of Yog and the EASY Yog theory at the World Philosopher's meet held at Pune in November 1996 and spoke on it, backing the scientific concepts considered in its methodology. His views got a critical acclaim. He was later felicitated with a memento.

He again presented His views at the World Philosopher's meet held at Dadawadi on 14th April 1997.

He wrote books Sahaja Yog Sadhana – EASY Yog (Easily Accessible Salvation Yog), which are the new age Upanishads, which can be called as Vasantopanishad's. His main motive being of help towards His followers in attaining their spiritual goals, who are engulfed in the three types os Sansaric taapa (three types of pains while leading life)
